Position: Manager – Sales

Accountable to focus on the day to day management of a sales team with a focus on recruiting, training, developing, coaching and activities management for a team of sales executives.

Will be responsible for managing the Ontario and Western sales teams for THCC

  • Lead from the front, coach and develop a high performing sales team capable of exceeding the goals, objectives and financial targets
  • Drive and support the regions goals, objectives and financial targets including revenue, growth, market share and EBITDA targets by utilizing the TELUS prescribed methodologies and tools
  • Provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on the performance metrics for the business in order to facilitate effective business planning, forecasting and resource allocation
  • Engage the necessary resources from within the extended team and external stakeholder community to fully support the needs of the business

    • outstanding communicator able to effectively articulate the vision, goals and strategic imperatives of the business and act as an enabler for feedback
  • A Business Manager
    • Extensive knowledge of the B2B sales environment
    • Strong and effective decision maker able to review options in a constructive and methodical manner to establish the best course of action for the organization
    • Provide long term input into Marketing roadmap
  • A Sales Driver
    • Detailed understanding of the sales process and a proven track record of achieving sustainable, profitable business results
    • Ability to create the environment for success and promote superior performance against stretched targets
  • An Achiever
    • Proven track record of consistent and sustainable performance exceeding challenging financial targets
    • Sets high standards for performance, results and behaviours and manages to them
Professional accreditation / Equivalent Experience
  • University Degree
  • 7-10 years of equivalent experience – Sales experience at intermediate or senior level
  • Previous direct/indirect experience in leading a sales team
