E-Commerce Picking Team Lead (Markham Store)

Job Description

Reporting to the Store Assistant Manager and Supervisor, E-commerce Picking Team Lead is a self-motivated, performance driven individual who can maintain a healthy e-commerce platform operation and fulfillment. Being the leader of the E-Commerce Picking Team, E-Commerce Picking Team Lead must work with E-commerce Pickers to complete all e-commerce orders daily. We are looking for an individual who can multi-task and meet below job duties and requirements.

• Unpack, inspect, and verify incoming e-commerce replenishments
• Maintain healthy inventory level for e-commerce
• Merchandise items correctly from delivery and geo-location tagging at store front
• Plan and monitor product storage and filling
• Manage customer’s orders and requisitions
• Pick items from shelves based on UPC, size, colour and quantity
• Process order transactions
• Ensure order accuracy
• Pack items for pick-up
• Package items appropriately for shipping
• Respond to customers’ inquiries
• Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
• Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
• Perform other general store duties as needed

Job Requirement

• Ability to lift heavy objects (min 20lbs) and ability to stay on feet for long periods of time
• Occasionally work on ladders
• Flexible work hours including some evenings, weekends and holidays
• Work experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred
• Ability to communicate in English, plus an additional second language (e.g. Chinese/Japanese/French etc.) is a bonus
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
• Good communication skills, ability to work well in a team but also self-motivated and independent at times
• Able to communicate through Whatsapp
• Immediate availability is preferred

Additional Information

• Individuals with relevant work experience will be first considered;
• Japanese speaking and Japanese literate individuals are preferred;
• Training will be provided
